Smoke Damage Job at the Quad City Animal Welfare Center

Back in May of 2019, the Quad City Animal Welfare Center in Milan, IL, had a fire in their laundry room. Luckily, the fire was contained to the dryer; however, the smoke from the fire spread throughout the building, causing smoke damage to most of the facility. We were honored when we received the call from the center to help.
Once we received the call, SERVPRO arrived on the same day to do an assessment of the damage and provide emergency services. While the clinic escaped structural damage, most all surfaces were damaged by smoke, which made its way throughout the facility. Because this is a sterile environment for animal housing and operations, it was crucial that the property be deep cleaned and ready for everyday use. This involved deodorizing and using our ozone machines and air scrubbers to remove the smoke smell. All surfaces were also cleaned and sanitatized. SERVPRO got the clinic back in business in a week's time!
From start to finish, SERVPRO was able to make it “Like it never even happened.” If you have smoke damage, call us today!
